The University of Alabama’s Journal of the Legal Profession is currently accepting submissions for the Fall 2019 issue of Volume 44. The Journal welcomes all submissions related to legal ethics and professional responsibility. However, preference may be given to submissions related to diversity and inclusion, mental health, criminal justice, election law, administrative law, business, or technology. As the nation’s first publication exploring legal ethics confronting attorneys, The Journal strives to publish cutting edge articles on ethical issues and interdisciplinary scholarship authored by legal scholars, faculty, attorneys from diverse practice areas, judges, and social scientists.
All manuscripts should be typewritten in Microsoft Word or Adobe
PDF format and double-spaced. The Journal
of the Legal Profession currently requires conformity with The Bluebook: A
Uniform System of Citations (20th ed. 2015). Submissions are encouraged via
ExpressO or Scholastica. Submissions may be submitted to jolp@law.ua.edu.
